CNC Multi-Slide Automatic Lathes
CNC controlled multi-slide automatic lathes TBA 42 and TBA 60 were designed for the high speed production of turned parts in medium and small batch sizes. Four radially arranged tool slides and the axially travelling 6-position turret enable simultaneous machining with up to 3 or 4 tools. This is the reason for outstanding high production rates achievable on TBA machines.
All slides are driven by servomotors, for most accurate and fast positioning. The main spindle is driven by a spindle motor with high torque and constant power over a wide speed range; this means that all kind of material can be machined with superior process reliability.
The main spindle high-precision ball bearings are lifelong lubricated and a central lubrication with constant monitoring comes standard with the TBA series.
